Hello World! My New Blog!

AAAHHHHH!!! theesass.co is finally hereee, and I couldn't be more excited! My blog was created to share valuable insights, promote self-care practices, and celebrate life events that resonate with the everyday modern girl. I would like to empower woman through relatable storytelling and curated content, to motivate and inspire every woman to embrace her unique journey and feel confident in her choices. If beauty, wellness, lifestyle, business, and much is your vibe, then you're in the right room!

Hi, my name is Deej Stevenson, I'm a small city girl in her 30's, currently residing far away from home! I'm just a modern girl who decided to go for it! Growing up I was very much a girly girl and that followed me through life! During high school I went to cosmetology school as well, although my love for beauty began years earlier. After high school I went to college and started my first hair business, selling raw Indian extensions. I didn't know a thing about business, I didn't even have a website, I was just selling hair from the trunk of my car lol. Who knew years later after graduating college, I would launch my first REAL beauty business all while juggling a full time corporate career, the year was 2017. I was so proud to have self educate and use resources to launch a successful business, and to be able to make others beautiful. I say all that to say, is during that time and many more times I wish I had a community where I could go to relate to others just like me or similar.

Fast forward to 2025, and life has been lifing. There are so many life changing events that take place in our late 20's to early 30's, that no one really talks about or even scared to be vocal about. But truly the community needs it, I decided to build theesass.co to create a safe space and a community where girls can be girls and enjoy some much needed girl talk! All while sharing my real life experiences! Before you leave, although this isn't goodbye, here are five fun facts about me!
